After spending the last few days making this song with my incredibly talented friends Michael Arden, Andy Mientus & Jackson Teeley, the song is ready for the world. The three of them wrote it and brought me on to produce the song with them. What we wanted was a classic and nostalgic sounding song that captured the feeling most of us are experiencing this year. The longing and yearning to be close to loved ones on Christmas when they are miles apart. It is featuring Dez Duron amazing voice and Randy Waldman’s classic arrangement. Merry Early Christmas!! It’s finally out on all services. Please check out this song that I am so happy to have out in the World. My dear friend @davidjandrew asked me to produce this song with him for his beautiful album of Christmas music he just released. And to get featured alongside @bella.taylor’s voice and David’s piano was a treat.
David’s idea was for the whole record to be one big Family Christmas Special. He brought musicians that he loves and adores together to make music as a response to the heaviness of 2020. He created a statement that the darkness never gets the final say, not when there’s still songs to be sung, instruments to be played and music to made with those you love.
